About Us

Our USRowing registered club was formed in 2022, after Henley Masters, as a way to get friends and former teammates together for additional international races with an initial focus on a single entry for the 2022 Head of the Charles Regatta in Boston USA. The success of this maiden voyage has inspired more.

2023 brought two eights competing in the 40+ and 50+ age categories at the head of the Charles. The Olden Bears were ready for the challenge of these two fiercely competitive categories winning a guaranteed entry for the 2024 event.

In 2024 a full 6 boats have been entered across both mens and women’s crews covering a range of ages and races and expectations are high for continued success.
